How Arizona tea's 99-cent price tag is still standing

Iced tea cans from Arizona Beverages have cost 99 cents since the company was founded in 1992. If the price were adjusted for inflation, those cans would be around $2.30 today.

But the price the brand is now famous for was at one point under threat. A legal battle between the two founders waged for nearly a decade over who would control the company and how much it would cost.
