America's most iconic TV serial killer is back, with Michael C. Hall returning as Dexter Morgan in Showtime's latest Dexter sequel series. We've broken down everything you need to know about where to watch Dexter: Resurrection, including global options and streaming availability of other Dexter franchise shows.
Following the original Dexter series' divisive ending in 2013, Showtime brought back the titular killer in 2021 for a limited revival series, titled Dexter: New Blood. The sequel's finale also incited plenty of controversy among fans, but Showtime later revealed that Dexter Morgan has managed to survive it all, allowing for his return in 2025's Dexter: Resurrection.
In Dexter: Resurrection, a newly awakened Dexter tracks down and hopes to reunite with his teenage son, Harrison (Jack Alcott), in New York City. However, Dexter is also trying to outrun his past in Miami and Iron Lake, as Miami Metro Captain Angel Batista investigates previous claims about him being the Bay Harbor Butcher. In the new sequel's cast, Hall is joined by returning actors James Remar, David Zayas, and Alcott, as well as newcomers like Peter Dinklage, Uma Thurman, Neil Patrick Harris, and Krysten Ritter.
Below, we've provided an outline of what you need to know about how to watch Dexter: Resurrection. In addition to streaming availability in the US and UK, we've broken down the trailer, details about the global viewing options, and where to watch Dexter's original show and other spinoffs.
