The Challenge is back — and with it, 32 familiar faces prepare to do battle over a series of physical and mental tasks in order to be crowned Challenge Champion. If your first mission is to find out where to watch The Challenge, you've come to the right place.

If the trailer (see below) is to be believed, this latest run of The Challenge is set to be the "most one-upping, back-stabbing, jaw-dropping season ever." Subtitled Vets & New Threats, it's pitting 16 experienced veterans of The Challenge and 16 fresh faces to the show against each other. The 'Threats' may be rookies on The Challenge, but they've all been seen on TV before, with the likes of Big Brother's America Lopez, Blue Kim, and Cedric Hodges, Love Island's Leonardo Dionicio, WWE's Gabe Wai, and Survivor 45 winner Dee Valladares all taking part.

The initial pairs of vets and threats have been drafted, so the games can begin! Below we have all the information you need to watch The Challenge: Vets & New Threats, including advice if you're prevented from watching your usual stream when overseas. If you don't want to read any further: Philo is the cheapest way to live stream the show in the US.

What channel is The Challenge on?

Just like it has for the last 27 years(!), Season 41 of The Challenge will air on MTV. The premiere is scheduled for Wednesday, July 30, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Episodes will go out at the same time on Wednesdays every week, with the last few seasons running for 19 episodes each.

Where to watch The Challenge in the US

If you want to watch episodes of The Challenge on TV as they go out and don't have MTV as part of your cable package, there are still plenty of ways to watch on a range of OTT streaming services. Philo is a great example, with MTV featuring among its 70+-strong list of channels that also includes the likes of AMC, Comedy Central, History, Nickelodeon, and VH1. It costs $28 a month, and you can give it a try before you commit, thanks to its seven-day free trial.

DirecTV is another excellent choice, with MTV available as part of several different plans. The streamer's $35 a month MyEntertainment pack is a tempting option, as it throws in access to Disney Plus, Hulu, and HBO Max alongside channels like Bravo, Discovery, FX, and TLC. MTV also appears in the channel line-up of all its general Signature Packages, starting from $85 a month. All DirecTV plans come with a five-day free trial.

To get MTV on Sling TV, you'll need to combine your choice of either its Blue or Orange base plan (both of which start at $46 a month, with your first month half price) with its Entertainment Extra add-on (also featuring Paramount Network, FETV, and TV Land) for an additional $6 a month.

They start with Fubo's Pro plan that includes more than 200 channels and costs $85/month. Save $20 on your first month, and there's the option to try before you buy with its 5-day free trial.

Fubo is the streaming service for sports fans. Its huge library of channels includes regional and international sports leagues, setting it apart from the competition. You can also tack on additional programming to your plan, but it'll cost you extra.

If you can't get enough of The Challenge, streaming platform Paramount Plus has an extensive catalog of the show from season 10 all the way up to season 40. It will inevitably add season 41 to its library, but subscribers will have to wait a while — the last series didn't land on the streamer until three months after the series finale aired on MTV. Subscriptions start at $8 a month and come with a seven-day free trial.
